Account Activation & Setup

A quick guide for first-time Casa account and two-factor authentication (2FA) setup. This guide will both activate your account and pair the mobile Google Authenticator app with your account.

Before You Start​

  • You will get a New Casa Login ID from an admin. It starts with rr- (Round Rock) or sa- (San Antonio) plus your Casa ID. Be sure to include the dash.
  • You will also get a temporary password.
  • Keep your phone ready for the code emails and the Google Authenticator app.

Account Activation​

  1. Open Chrome or Edge and go to https://app.casamechanical.com.
  2. Enter your New Casa Login ID (the rr- or sa- Casa ID) and the temporary password.
  3. Check your Casa email for a 6-digit verification code. Enter it to confirm your email.
  4. When the 2FA QR code appears, install Google Authenticator on your phone (download from App Store or Play Store).
  5. In Google Authenticator, tap the + icon, choose Scan QR code, scan the code on screen, then type the 6-digit code it shows.
  6. You should now be logged in. If prompted to "remember this device," only accept on a trusted work computer or personal device.

Reset The Default Password​

  1. Click your avatar (top right) > Sign out.
  2. On the login screen, click Forgot Casa Password? underneath the sign in button.
  3. Enter in your New Casa Login ID (starting with rr- or sa-), and click Send Code.
  4. Enter the email confirmation code. Also enter and confirm your new password - this is what you will use to log in to the Casa application.

Test Your Login​

  1. Click your avatar (top right) > Sign out.
  2. Go back to https://app.casamechanical.com and sign in with the same New Casa Login ID and new password.
  3. Enter the current 6-digit code from Google Authenticator.
  4. If you reach your dashboard, setup is complete.

If Something Fails​

  • No verification email: check Junk/Spam, then request a new code.
  • Can't scan the QR: pick enter code manually in Google Authenticator and type the key shown on the screen.
